Updates

So hey guys, IoaleKelina here. So I just found out that my dA has reached its 3rd anniversary without me noticing it, and I know that I have been inactive lately...

Okay, so I started university on 13 June, which is the main reason for my inactivity. My schedule is pretty screwed up, on some days, I'll be bombarded with 5 lectures and tutorials and on some days, I'll be free the entire day with the exception of an hour of lectures. With lectures and tutorials aside, my time is filled with completing assignments as coursework contributes to 50% of the final marks of all 6 of my subjects, with the exception of Foreign Language: Japanese.

Oh yeah, I'm starting to learn Japanese as well :3 

Like, back to art.

Ever since university started, I became very uninspired to do art. For one, I was hit with homesickness and I was sobbing every night for an entire week until I went home for a short period. And then, when my lectures started, I was too busy to be homesick and for art. And when I'm NOT busy, like on weekends, I just don't feel inspired to do art, and I'm suffering from a severe case of art block. Like, i had several WIP pieces before I started university which I was so excited to do and yet now, all I do is apply a little shading here and there and add a little lineart for every WIP piece.

Okay, I know that this seems like a rant journal, but what I really want is advice, preferably from those who went through this before as well. Art is some sort of stress relief for me, whether it is dancing, playing my keyboard or drawing, and I'm not even doing any of those anymore, so I really want art back in my life...

But all in all, 3 years have passed since I made this account and I really want to thank everyone who supported me and my art. I love dA so much and I love you all <3
